Note:

  1. The salary and benefits are as reflected for professor/ Associate Professor/assistant professor for international faculty which is inclusive of permissible allowances as per the approval from the Cabinet Secretary vide letter No. C-3/152/2023/1798 dated 21 September 2023.
  2. No separate contract allowances.
  3. No PF and No gratuity deduction
  4. NO LTC/leave encashment.
  5. Airfare will be provided at the time of reporting for work and at the end of the tenure but return airfare will not be provided if one does not complete the tenure of the contract.
  6. Other entitlements and deductions will be as per the Condition of the Service of the University 2018 and the existing rules and regulations of the Royal Government of Bhutan.
  7. The relevant degrees must be recognized by the Medical and Health Professionals Council in Bhutan.
  8. The placement at a particular academic position shall be according to the Condition of Service of the University 2018.

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Academic transcripts
  • Relevant training certificates to the post (if any)
  • Course Completion Certificates (Diploma/Bachelors/Masters/PhD/MD/MS/Fellowship)
  • A copy of the Medical Fitness certificate issued by a competent medical doctor.
  • Merit/Other certificates (if any)
  • One recent passport-size photograph
  • Preference will be given to the applicants with relevant qualifications/training and work experience with the production of evidence.
  • Short-listed applicants will be called for a selection interview/selection examination.
  • An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection interview if he/she has failed to furnish testimonials as required above.
  • Short-listed applicants must produce the original documents during the time of the interview
  • The university reserves the right not to select applicants if they do not get appropriate applicants for the post.
