Vacancy Announcement

The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan is pleased to announce the vacancy for international faculty at Faculty of Traditional Medicine for immediate recruitment.

The salary and allowances are as reflected below:

Interested applicants aged 18 and above, who meet the eligibility criteria may apply along with following mandatory documents:

  1. Application in the prescribed format (Can be downloaded from http://www.kgumsb.edu.bt/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/employent-form.pdf ) 
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Degree and MD transcript and Course Completion certificate.
  4. Relevant training certificates to the post (if any)
  5. Scanned copy valid medical fitness certificate issued by a competent Medical Doctor
  6. Scanned copy of valid security clearance 
  7. Scanned copy of valid citizenship identity card (Host Country)
  8. Merit/ Other certificates (if any)
  9. One recent passport-size photograph
  10. No separate contract allowances.
  11. No PF and no gratuity deduction.
  12. Nu. 15,000 per month will be provided as a House rent allowance. 
  13. No LTC/leave encashment.
  14. Airfare will be provided at the time of reporting for work and at the end of the tenure but return airfare will not be provided if one does not complete the tenure of the contract.
  15. Other entitlements and deductions will be as per the Condition of the Service of the University 2025 and the existing rules and regulations of the Royal Government of Bhutan.
  16. The relevant degrees must be recognized by the Medical and Health Professionals Council in Bhutan (Attach a copy of the respective medical council of the host country).
  17. If selected, applicant must produce the original documents during the time of appointment, after the selection (As the interview will be done online)

Note:

  • Short-listed applicants will be informed about the selection interview/ selection examination through KGUMSB website and via email.
  • An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection interview if he/she has failed to furnish testimonials as required above.
  • The university reserves the right not to select applicants if do not get appropriate applicants for the post.
