The applicants mentioned above should report to HR Section – Office of the President with the following documents, for the purpose of verification of the documents:

  1. Original academic transcripts and certificates
  2. Security Clearance Certificate
  3. Audit Clearance Certificate 
  4. Citizenship Identity Card – Original
  5. No Objection Certificate(NOC) from the employer, if employed and NOC from the concerned ministry (for civil servants)
  6. If employed, documentary evidence of the current position level.
  1. The Selection process will be as per the following schedule:

Day 1 (15th February 2024): Director (HR and Planning), Chief ICT Officer, Senior Planning Officer

  1. Verification of Original Documents
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB 
  2. Presentation Preparation
    • Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
  3. Presentation and Viva Voce
  1. For Director 
    • Time: 11:00 AM  Onwards
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
    • The scenario/topic for the presentation will be given on the spot
    • Time allotment as follows: 
    • One hour – For preparation of presentation 
    • 10 minutes – Presentation and Question and Answer Round
    • 20 minutes – Viva Voce
  2. For Chief ICT Officer, Senior Planning Officer
    • Time: 2:00 PM  Onwards
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
    • The scenario/topic for the presentation will be given on the spot
    • Time allotment as follows: 
    • One hour – For preparation of presentation 
    • 10 minutes – Presentation and Question and Answer Round
    • 15 minutes – Viva Voce

B. Day 2 (16th February 2024): For Lecturer/Associate Lecturer  NursingAssociate Lecturer Anatomy and Administrative Assistant

  1. Verification of Original Documents
    • Time: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB 
  2. Written Examination for Lecturer/Associate Lecturer  Nursing and Associate Lecturer- Anatomy
    • Time: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM
    • Written Examination will be assessed out of 100 marks  
    • The result for written examination will be uploaded in the KGUMSB website (www.kgumsb.edu.bt) by 1PM on the same day 
    • An applicant must secure a minimum of 60% in written examination to qualify for the viva voce.
  3. Viva Voce 

i. For Administrative Assistant 

  • Time: 11:30 AM  Onwards
  • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
  1. For Lecturer/Associate Lecturer  Nursing and Associate Lecturer Anatomy, if qualified for Viva Voce 
    • Time: 2:00 PM  Onwards
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB

Day 3 (20th February 2024): For Research Assistant

  1. Verification of Original Documents
    • Time: 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB 
  2. Presentation Preparation
    • Time: 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM
  3. Presentation and Viva Voce
    • Time: 2:00 PM  Onwards
    • Venue: Board Room, KGUMSB
    • The scenario/topic for the presentation will be given on the spot
    • Time allotment as follows: 
    • One hour – For preparation of presentation 
    • 10 minutes – Presentation and Question and Answer Round
    • 15 minutes – Viva Voce
  4. Final calculation of marks (100%) shall be as follows: 
    • Presentation will be assessed out of 50%
    • Viva voce will be assessed out of 30%
    • Shortlisting marks will be assessed out of 20%

2. An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection examination and interview if he/she fails to furnish testimonials as required above during the time of verification and the slot will be allotted to the immediate next applicant.

3. The candidate (Except for Director) who wishes to join the university from the civil service shall be placed in their respective current position level and shall have to serve minimum duration required as per the CoS – 2018, to be eligible for next higher promotion
