On 17 June 2024. the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) hosted delegations from three universities from Thailand:
o Mae Fah Luang University
o Khon Kaen University
o Chiang Mai University
This visit is part of our efforts to strengthen institutional linkages with these universities, with whom KGUMSB shares excellent and cordial relationships, particularly in enhancing the medical education system. Discussions were held between the University council chairman/university Presidents and delegation members to strengthen collaborations, including faculty and student exchanges to enhance learning experiences and conduct joint research to address common challenges and create new knowledge.
With Chiang Mai University, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to enhance educational and academic exchanges, fostering direct collaboration and research partnerships.
