Coinciding with the World Quality Week 2023, Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan collaborating with all implementing partners releasing Total Quality Management in Healthcare Course which is the blended learning module hosted in the Virtual Learning Platform, Open KGUMSB.
The course aims to equip all categories of healthcare providers with essential Quality Improvement competencies to become change agents in solving local quality gaps/problems by using analytical skills, teamwork, and data within existing resources.
Quality improvement aims to make a difference to patients by improving safety, effectiveness, and experience of care by: Understanding our complex healthcare environment, Applying a systematic approach, Designing, testing, and implementing changes using real-time measurement for improvement.
The event was graced by the Honorable Acting Secretary, Ministry of Health, and a total of 25 QI coaches and 93 participants who fulfilled the requirement of Training Of Trainers, organized in JDWNRH, ERRH, and CRRH has been awarded the certificates.
