A delegation from Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), led by its Honorable President, held a meeting with the senior management and faculty members of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India from 4th to 6th October 2023.
During the meeting, the two parties explored various avenues for collaboration aimed at enhancing the quality of medical education and research in Bhutan including the MBBS program. KGUMSB will be starting the MBBS program in January 2024. AIIMS expressed its commitment to providing support to KGUMSB, not only in strengthening medical education and research but also in building the capabilities of faculty members and the healthcare workforce in Bhutan.
