The second batch training on Service with Care and Compassion Initiatives (SCCI) for the healthcare professionals of JDWNRH, Thromde Health Centres and faculties from the affiliated nursing colleges has been successfully concluded on 25th July, 2025.

The training was organized by MECRIT in collaboration with MoH and Access Health International (AHI) through financial support from Sanofi through AHI.

Resourced by SCCI experts from MoH, KGUMSB, JDWNRH and AHI, about 45 participants attended the training including the doctors, nurses, paramedical staff from JDWNRH and Thromde Health Office and faculties from affiliated nursing colleges.

The training was formally opened with opening remarks by the Director of Clinical Services, NMS. Director during his opening remarks, emphasized the significance of NCD management and he highlighted the importance of this training to equip healthcare professionals to deliver patient care services with compassion. He advised the participants to make best use of the training and implement practically at their respective work station.

The three days training was concluded with meeting and discussion on the status of SCCI implementation at JDWNRH following the first batch training conducted in May, 2025 followed by discussion on way forward chaired by the Director, MECRIT.

Expressing the satisfaction with the training, all the participants shared their views and recommendations for improvement and implementation of SCCI at JDWNRH and other health centres.
