A delegation from Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), led by its Honorable President, held a meeting with the senior management and faculty members of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital’s Ganga Ram Institute of Postgraduate Medicine and Research (GRIPMER) in New Delhi on October 5, 2023.
During the meeting, the two parties explored various avenues for collaboration aimed at enhancing the quality of medical education and research in Bhutan. GRIPMER expressed its commitment to providing support to KGUMSB, not only in strengthening medical education and research but also in building the capabilities of faculty members and the healthcare workforce in Bhutan.
It is noteworthy that GRIPMER has played a pivotal role in aiding the residency program initiated by KGUMSB in 2015. Additionally, GRIPMER has extended its support to the Fellowship program across various medical disciplines for Bhutanese doctors.
