vacancy announcement for Academic Position

The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to announce the following vacancy:

Minimum 3 years of work experience
2 Lecturer/ Associate Lecturer PL 5/6 Master in Public Health / BPH 1 FNPH, KGUMSB preference will be given to those candidates with relevant field experiences, required skills within the area of practice
3 Lecturer/ Associate Lecturer    PL 5/6 MSc. Nursing/ MSc or BSc in Trauma and Disaster Management/ BSc. in Nursing 1 FNPH, KGUMSB Minimum 3 years of work experience as an Emergency Medical Responder (mandatory).
4 Lecturer/ Associate Lecturer   PL 5/6 Master in Midwifery and  Nursing/ BSc. Nursing and Midwifery 2 FNPH, KGUMSB Female candidate (mandatory).

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in midwifery(mandatory)

Preference will be given to those candidate with master degree qualification

Note: PL6,PL5 is equivalent to P3,P2 of the civil service

  • Security Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)
  • Audit Clearance Certificate, if employed (Valid and copy)
  • No Objection Certificate from the Employer (If employed)
  • A copy of the Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Card
  • A copy of the Medical Fitness certificate issued by a competent RGoB medical doctor.
  • Merit/Other certificates (if any)
  • One recent passport-size photograph
  • One legal stamp
  1. Preference will be given to the applicant with relevant qualifications/training and work experience.
  2. The selected applicant will be assigned the position level based on the qualification, current position level, and number of work experience in the current position.
  3. University reserves the right not to select applicants if they do not get appropriate applicants for the post.
