Data Analysis Training using Stata Software
The Bhutan Health Journal under the aegis of Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) has conducted Data Analysis training using Stata software to health professionals for five days from 16th – 20th May 2022 at the Tashi Namgay Resort, Paro.
The training is part of the COVID-19 Health Response grant to support public health research and training on COVID-19, and similar epidemic prevention and response. The training was made possible with the generous support of the American people through the U.S. Agency for International Development in partnership with the Bhutan Foundation.
The training was given by two seasoned researchers to 16 participants from the KGUMSB, Ministry of Health, and Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH). The Stata software is a user friendly, fast, accurate and integrated software package used for data analysis. The training covered a range of fundamental topics on statistics, data visualization, data management, and data manipulation. With this training, participants are expected to share enhanced research skills and knowledge at their workplace and fellow colleagues.
