In order to strengthen the quality of education, uphold academic standards, ensure the integrity of the teaching-learning and assessment process, and promote compliance with the University’s academic regulations, all Constituent Faculties and Affiliated Institutes under the University are hereby directed to ensure that students have successfully fulfilled all prescribed curriculum module requirements before being permitted to appear in the examinations. The curriculum module requirements include the completion of all mandatory teaching-learning activities, practical/laboratory sessions, clinical components (where applicable), continuous assessments, assignments, and all other academic requirements specified in the approved curriculum and the University’s academic regulations.
All institutes shall maintain complete, accurate, and verifiable records demonstrating that each student has fulfilled the prescribed curriculum module requirements and assessment components. These records shall be readily available for verification by the University at any time. The University shall monitor compliance through the review of institutional records, academic audits, and other verification mechanisms.
Institutes found permitting students who have not fulfilled the prescribed curriculum module requirements or other academic regulation requirements to appear in the examinations, or failing to maintain adequate documentary evidence of compliance, shall be held accountable and may be subject to appropriate administrative or disciplinary action in accordance with the University’s rules and regulations.
Students who are found to have been promoted or allowed to appear in the examinations without fulfilling the prescribed curriculum module requirements or academic regulation requirements shall be deemed ineligible. Their examination eligibility and/or promotion shall be withdrawn, and they shall be detained and reverted to the appropriate semester as re-semester.
All Deans of Constituent Faculties and Affiliated Institutes are requested to ensure strict compliance with this notification and certify that only eligible students are permitted to sit for the examinations.
