Call for Research Assistant

As per the endorsement of the University Human Resource Committee meeting held on 22.04.2026, Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan on behalf of the investigators of South Asia Health System Review Research would like to announce the vacancy of Research Assistant for the project for a period of four months (May to August 2026), extendable based on requirement and budget availability. 

The project is a collaborative research project between Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan, Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Nepal and Bangladesh University of Health Sciences, Bangladesh funded by One-Health Network Fund from Center for International Health , Ludwig Maximillians University (CIH-LMU),Munich, Germany.

Eligibility criteria: 

1. Must be a Bhutanese Citizen
2. See the attachment for other criteria and requirements

Documents required:

1. Valid CID Copy
2. CV with contact details of two references
3. Academic transcripts
4. No objection certificate if employed
5. Motivation letter 

Salary:
Salary will be disbursed directly from CIH LMU, Germany to the personal account of the Research Assistant. 
Amount : €420 including tranfer and other related fees
The Research Assistant will be employed in Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan, Thimphu with the local Principal Investigator, Dr. Kuenzang Chhezom and Co-Investigator Mr. Ugyen Norbu.
