The Bhutan Health Journal (BHJ), a bi-annual peer-reviewed print and online journal of the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), invites applications from motivated and committed professionals to join the journal as Editors.
Established in 2015, the Bhutan Health Journal is the first medical journal of Bhutan. It has been shaped by distinguished researchers and academicians from Bhutan and abroad and continues to serve as an important platform for advancing health sciences and research culture in the country.
About the Role
This is a voluntary, non-remunerated position, offered to individuals who are passionate about research, academic publishing, and strengthening scholarly output. Editors will play a key role in the flow of manuscripts supporting the peer-review process, maintaining publication standards, and advancing the journal’s vision.
Aims and Scope of the Journal
The Bhutan Health Journal aims to improve health sciences in Bhutan by providing a platform for clinicians, academicians, researchers, and health professionals to share research, academic work, ideas, and experiences. The journal publishes work across a wide range of disciplines including:
