Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is actively participating in the Career Bootcamp themed “Level Up, Own Your Career Path” for the Gyalsups of the four Gyalsung Academies-Khotokha, Gyelposhing, Pemathang, and Jamtsholing.
Organized and led by the Labor Market Information and Career Guidance Division, under the Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE), Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Employment (MoICE), the Career Bootcamp aims to provide the Gyalsups with up-to-date labor market insights, strengthen their career readiness, enhance employability through interactive skill-building, and encourage diverse career exploration.
Representing KGUMSB, Mr. Rixin Jamtsho, Director of the Medical Education Centre for Research, Innovation and Training (MECRIT), delivers a presentation highlighting the university’s mandates, vision and mission, number of constituent faculties, available courses and scholarships, admission requirements, ability rating system, student intake, career opportunities and future plans of the KGUMSB.
The day-long program at each Gyalsung Academy commenced on 7th October 2025 at Khotokha Gyalsung Academy and will conclude on 15th October 2025 at Jamtsholing Gyalsung Academy, Samtse.
The management of the KGUMSB extends a special gratitude to the team from DoEE, MoICE for the opportunity to participate in the ongoing important program for the Gyalsups.
