Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan is pleased to announce applications for admission to the 2 year In-service (Self Funding)  B.Sc in Nursing and Midwifery and B.Sc in Public Health starting from July 2020.

Eligibility

  1. Fulfill in-service training criteria
  2. a) Completed Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery OR
    b) Completed HA/ACO/ADHO/any Medical Technicians’ course
  3. Registered with Bhutan Medical and Health Council

How to apply
Filled application form (available at www.fnph.edu.bt or directly download from HERE) can be submitted in person to Ms.Deki Pem, Dy.Dean for BScNM or Mr.Wangchuk, Dy Dean for BPH or by email to info@fnph.edu.bt. Applications will be received from 10th February 2020 to 10th March 2020.
Confirmation of selection and commencement of course will be announced by 31st March 2020. There must be a minimum of 5 candidates in each programme for the course to commence. A selection examination and/or interview may be held if deemed necessary.

Fees:

  1. Tuition fees: Nu.93,000 (Ninety three thousand only) per year payable in two

installments at the beginning of each semester (Subject to change due to pay revision)

  1. Registration fee (non-refundable): Nu.1000 (one thousand only) at the time of admission
  2. Staff student Welfare Fund (Non-refundable): Nu.600 per year
  3. Security deposit: Nu 3000 (Refundable)

 Documents to be submitted

  1. Filled admission form
  2. Copy of Citizenship ID card
  3. Copy of BMHC Registration Certificate
  4. Copy of academic certificate and transcript
  5. No objection letter from Employer

Requirements at the time of reporting to the institute

  1. Original certificates: BMHC, academic and transcript
  2. Two recent passport size photographs
  3. Fees as stated above
