To ensure a fair, efficient, and transparent application process in accordance with the Academic Regulations 2021 and Admission Guidelines 2022, please identify your applicant category based on your Class 12 completion year.
Recent Class 12 Graduates: 

Students who completed Class 12 in the year immediately preceding admission (e.g., graduated in 2025 for the 2026 intake).

Former Class 12 Students

Applicants who completed Class 12 in previous years and are seeking admission for the current intake (e.g., those who graduated in 2024, 2023, 2022, etc., for the 2026 intake).

Note: 

          This phase is only for Former Class 12 Students and Repeaters using previous marks. Recent class 12 graduates may skip to Phase 2.

  • 1. Monitor Announcements: Official registration notices are posted on the KGUMSB Website and our Facebook page, typically in January
  • 2. Verify Eligibility: Review the specific criteria in the announcement before proceeding
  • 3. Prepare Documents: Have clear, scanned copies of the following ready:
    * Class 12 Pass Certificate
    * Class 12 Marksheet
    * Citizenship Identity Card (CID)
  • 4. Register Online: Click Registration Portal during the specified dates to access the portal
  • 5. Confirmation: You will receive an automated email acknowledging your registration
  • 6. Verification & Approval: KGUMSB will review your application. You will receive an email notifying you if your registration is Approved or Rejected
Common Reasons for Rejection:
  • Incomplete or fraudulent documentation
  • Previous selection to a KGUMSB program where the applicant failed to report or withdrew
  • Attempting to register as a "Past Student" while being a "Fresh Student
Note: 

          This phase is for all eligible applicants (Recent class 12 graduates and former Class 12 students whose Registration has been Approved)

  • 1. Check Vacancies: View the Admission Criteria Page and related announcement on our website and Facebook page
  • 2. Review Options: Note the available programs, slot availability, and specific eligibility requirements for the current year
  • 3. Access the Portal: Visit the Admission Portal during the announced application window
  • 4. Secure Login:  Login into portal using following credentials:
    * Username: Your 11 Digit CID Number 
    * Password: Your Date of Birth in YYYY-MM-DD Format
  • 5. Update Contact Info: Your first task after logging in is to provide accurate contact details.

  • 6. Select Programmes: The system will automatically display programs you are eligible for and calculate your provisional ranking based on university subject requirements and ability ratings
  • 7. Self-Funding Option: If you wish to be considered for a self-funded slot, please indicate this in the system
  • 8. Submit & Track: You will receive an email confirmation upon submission. After the deadline, you can log in to view your provisional ranking and selection status
  • 1. Confirmation: If your ranking falls within the available slots, the Selection Team will contact you to confirm your admission
  • 2. Reporting: Once confirmed, stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for reporting dates and faculty-specific instructions
