Vacan<\/strong>cies for the <\/strong>post of Editors<\/strong> \u00a0at <\/strong>the <\/strong>Bhutan Health Jour<\/strong>nal<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bhutan Health Journal under the aegis of Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to announce vacancies for the post of Editors as follows.<\/p>\n

No. of vacancies: 2<\/p>\n

Applicants must fulfill <\/strong>the <\/strong>following <\/strong>requirement<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Minimum of MD\/MS in medical field or Masters in Health Sciences.<\/li>\n
  2. Trained in research methodology<\/li>\n
  3. Trained in scientific paper writing and peer-reviewing<\/li>\n
  4. Trained in medical journal editorship<\/li>\n
  5. At least one original research publication as the first author<\/li>\n
  6. Active commitment to reviewing the manuscripts and attending board meetings<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Interested applicants who meet the eligibility criteria may apply along with:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Latest curriculum vitae<\/li>\n
    2. Copies of relevant documents<\/li>\n
    3. Highest degree transcript and mark sheet<\/li>\n
    4. A copy of a valid Citizenship Identity Card<\/li>\n
    5. One recent passport-size photograph<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      ***Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. All the BHJ members are selected in their personal capacities, based on their interest, research, and \/or scientific knowledge and expertise, as well as on their commitment and willingness to volunteer<\/em><\/strong> the necessary time and effort for the BHJ\u2019s work.<\/li>\n
      2. The members have no monetary benefit.<\/li>\n
      3. The\u00a0 tenure of the Editor shall be for five years with an option to extend further depending on the performance and willingness to continue<\/li>\n
      4. Editors must commit their time and effort at all times<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Interested candidates are requested to submit their applications addressed to the Editor-in-Chief with all the relevant documents via email at\u00a0editor@bhj.com.bt<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0on or before 5:00 PM, 15th<\/sup>\u00a0 September 2022.
