{"id":3591,"date":"2021-07-17T20:02:31","date_gmt":"2021-07-17T14:02:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kgumsb.edu.bt\/?p=3591"},"modified":"2021-07-17T20:02:31","modified_gmt":"2021-07-17T14:02:31","slug":"bhutan-structured-and-mentoring-approach-to-research-training-b-smart-for-faculty-members-kgumsb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kgumsb.edu.bt\/?p=3591","title":{"rendered":"BHUTAN STRUCTURED and MENTORING APPROACH to RESEARCH TRAINING (B-SMART) for FACULTY MEMBERS, KGUMSB"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">BHUTAN STRUCTURED and MENTORING APPROACH to RESEARCH TRAINING (B-SMART) for FACULTY MEMBERS, KGUMSB<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-wp-editing=\"1\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">MECRIT successfully organized and conducted two weeks (2 modules of the total 4 modules) of B-SMART program for the faculty members of KGUMSB from 5th \u2013 17th July 2021 at Hotel Holiday Home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The BSMART course is an adapted version of SORT-IT (Structured Operational Research and Training Initiative of the International Union Against Tuberculosis &amp; Lung Diseases, the UNION &amp; Me\u0301decins Sans Frontie\u0300res (MSF) International) model of the operational research capacity building, to suit Bhutan\u2019s local context.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">This operational research (OR) training program intends to orient, build and\/or enhance research capacity of researcher(s) to undertake OR mainly to improve evidence based planning and decisions for the heath care system.
