Admission Announcement \u2013 Academic Year 2026 (MBBS)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine (FoUGM), Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), is delighted to announce the admission date for the 2026 academic year.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All selected candidates<\/strong> for the MBBS program at KGUMSB, 2026 intake, are hereby informed to report to Taba Campus as per the details below. <\/strong>(Selection was based on the pre-service\/undergraduate scholarship interview conducted by RCSC in February 2025.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporting Date: Monday,<\/strong> 2nd<\/sup> February, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporting Time: 09:30 am \u2013 03:00 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine, Taba Campus, Upper Taba, Thimphu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The students are instructed to report with their parent\/legal guardian on the reporting date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The students will have to attend the mandatory pre-course orientation program scheduled from 4th<\/sup> February 2026 onwards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The formal classes will commence from <\/strong>9th<\/sup> February 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Additional information will be shared after the admission<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Documents\/items required at the time of reporting: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Duly filled Admission Form for the Year 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Class XII Original mark sheet & photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Class X original mark sheet & photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Original School leaving certificate & photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Citizenship Identity Card photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Recent passport-size photo (2 Nos.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Legal stamp (3 Nos.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Undertaking form to be signed by the parent\/legal guardian during admission<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      The students are required to make the following payments<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine development fund: <\/strong>Nu. 1800 (for six years)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Security money deposit (refundable):<\/strong> Nu. 6000<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Mess Money (First month): Nu. 3000 <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Total amount: Nu-10800\/-<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. Washing brush<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        5. Plate, cup, mug and spoon for personal use<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        6. Broom (hard and soft) 1 each<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        7. Pillow 1<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        8. Pillow cover 2-3 Nos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        9. Blanket and quilt with cover 1-2 Nos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        10. Bed sheet 2-3 Nos<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

          1. Gho and Kira<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          2. Lagay for boys (minimum-2-3 pairs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          3. Tego\/Gong for boys (minimum 2-3 nos.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          4. Wonju and Tego for girls (minimum 3 -6nos.) <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          5. Black shoes (formal) no heels (minimum 2 pairs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          6. Bath towel  1 no.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          7. Face towel 1 no. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
          8. Bathroom slippers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          9. Black\/Navy blue socks for gents (minimum -2 pairs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          10. Sports shoes and attire as required<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          11. Rachu for girls<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          12. Kabney for boys<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          13. Stationaries as required<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          14. White laboratory coat<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          15. BoB account number to be opened and TPN Number to be obtained. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Note:<\/strong> <\/strong>The student needs to pay the following from the stipend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Mess Nu 3000 \/monthly from the stipend<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            2. Monthly hostel rent 10% of the stipend (Nu 500)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
            3. Utility bills<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
