The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB), is pleased to announce the availability of in-country scholarship (fully funded) for 2025 intake, as detailed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Name<\/strong>: MD in Acupuncture in Moxibustion <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Course Date<\/strong>: 1st<\/sup> August 2025 to 31st<\/sup> July 2028<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training Institute<\/strong>: Faculty of Traditional Medicine, KGUMSB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place<\/strong>: KGUMSB, Thimphu, Bhutan<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding Modalities<\/strong>: a. Tuition fee waiver<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    b. Study leave with pay <\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                    c.  Stipend and other allowances as per financial rules<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funding Agency<\/strong>: Faculty of Traditional Medicine, KGUMSB<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mode of Study<\/strong>: Full-time<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slot:<\/strong> 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is ONLY for the full-time faculty members of Faculty of Traditional Medicine (FoTM), KGUMSB. The terms and conditions stated under Long Term Training in the Condition of Services \u2013 2025 shall be followed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Employee shall be eligible for long term training, if he\/she:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Is a Bhutanese citizen;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Is a Regular employee of the University;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Is less than or equal to 50 years of age at the point of application;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Relevant to the current position of work;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Disqualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    An employee shall not be eligible for long-term training when:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    1. His scholarship granted previously was terminated by the university\/institutes\/granter for violation of training and\/or other related rules and regulations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. He has been nominated\/short-listed for another training program, pending the declaration of result;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Not directly relevant to the current post\/profession;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Discontinued previously a training program with reasons within his\/her control;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. An employee is on contract, EOL and Secondment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. To pursue more than one LTT of the same level\/degree;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. He fails the drug test;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. He has not completed the training gap requirement after availing STT\/LTT;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    9. Adverse record or convicted by court of law for criminal offences.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Interested applicants from FoTM, KGUMSB may kindly submit the following documents to the HR Section \u2013 Office of the President, by 30th<\/sup> June 2025 (5PM) along with the following documents: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Inservice Training Form (As per the CoS \u2013 2025)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. A copy of Class XII and Degree Certificates and Transcripts\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. CV (Contact Details, Detailed information about the qualification history, service history and training details)\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. English Language Proficiency Certificate (issued by BCSEA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Performance Rating\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Recommendation Letter from the Head of the Faculty\/Office<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      7. Security Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      8. Audit Clearance Certificate (Valid and copy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      9. A copy of Bhutanese Citizenship Identity Card<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      10. A copy of Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a competent RGoB medical doctor<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
