evidence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short-listed applicants will be called for a selection interview\/selection examination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection interview if he\/she has failed to furnish testimonials as required above.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Short-listed applicants must produce the original documents during the time of the interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The university reserves the right not to select applicants if they do not get appropriate applicants for the post.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em><u>Note:<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The salary and benefits for Professor\/Associate Professor\/ Assistant Professor for national faculty recruited on contract are inclusive of permissible allowances as per the approval from the&nbsp;<strong>Cabinet Secretary vide letter No.&nbsp;C-3\/152\/2023\/1798 dated 21 September 2023, of the Royal Government of Bhutan.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The salary and benefits for serial numbers 2 and 3 and those joining as full-time faculties are as per the existing rules and regulations of the Condition of Service 2018 of Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicable allowances are subsumed as per the Notification of the Ministry of Finance with the variable pay, 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other entitlements and deductions will be as per the Condition of the Service of the University 2018 and the existing rules and regulations of the Royal Government of Bhutan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The relevant degrees must be recognized by the Medical and Health Professionals Council in Bhutan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The placement at a particular academic position shall be according to the Condition of Service of the University 2018.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidates may join the University on secondment as per the existing rules\/norms.&nbsp;<strong>OR<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The candidates may join the University on a special contract for a period of three years with a provision to extend the tenure based on
