{"id":238942,"date":"2024-03-06T17:26:43","date_gmt":"2024-03-06T11:26:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kgumsb.edu.bt\/?p=238942"},"modified":"2026-02-24T11:37:11","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T11:37:11","slug":"award-ceremony-during-the-foundation-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kgumsb.edu.bt\/index.php\/2024\/03\/06\/award-ceremony-during-the-foundation-day\/","title":{"rendered":"AWARD CEREMONY DURING THE FOUNDATION DAY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reflecting back the past and marking forward the future,&nbsp;the&nbsp;University solemnized 9<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Foundation Day&nbsp;on 28<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;of February 2024.&nbsp;Laid by the commitments and renewed mandates, celebrated first ever brand conclave promoting promises and potentials we are ready to deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The occasion was graced by the Hon\u2019ble Minister of Education and&nbsp;Skills Development&nbsp;as the Chief Guest&nbsp;and developing partners from MoH, WHO, UNICEF, RUB and constituent faculties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Foundation Day, the University recognized the hardwork, dedication and loyalty rendered by the employees of the University by awarding the President\u2019s Award and Best Employee of the Year 2023 from the Offices and constituent Faculties. The recipients were presented with a certificate and a small token of appreciation as a symbol and gratitude for their contributions made to the University and the Tsa \u2013 Wa \u2013 Sum.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>President\u2019s Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly initiated President\u2019s Award, is one of the most prestigious and important award at the University to reward and recognize the most deserving and exceptional employee of the University for their hardwork, dedication and significant contribution to the University and the nation as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The seed money for the President\u2019s fund for this award was generously donated by Dr. Yoriko Nishizawa, Associate Professor from Faculty of Postgraduate Medicine, from the award prize money she received from the&nbsp;Incentive Award at the 17<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Nakasone Yasuhiro Award Ceremony Japan. The University thanked Doctor, for the great contribution.
