The Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to notify the list of short listed applicants for the scholarships (fully funded) offered by the Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan for the Academic Year 2023-2024<\/strong>. Scholarship is supported through collaborative research between KGUMSB, MoH and RCDC on \u201cObservation Study on CoVID-19 Vaccine Immunogenicity and Reactogenicity\u201d research grant project in Bhutan with support from the Moderna Inc. USA, as detailed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The applicants mentioned above should report to Board Room, KGUMSB with the following documents, for the purpose of verification of the documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. <\/em>Valid <\/em>Security Clearance Certificate<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. <\/em>Valid Audit Clearance Certificate. For those who are <\/em>not eligible for Audit Clearance, need to submit No Due Certificate\/ Letter signed by the Head of the Agency.<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n

    5. <\/em>No Objection Certificate(NOC) from the employer, if employed and NOC from the concerned ministry (for civil servants)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          • Time: <\/em>9<\/em>:00 A.M  onwards<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n

          • The scenario\/topic will be given on the spot<\/li>\n\n\n\n

          • One hour \u2013 For preparation of presentation <\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • 10 minutes \u2013 Presentation <\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • 15<\/em> minutes \u2013 Question and Answer Round (Viva Voce included)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n

          • Time: 10: <\/em>0<\/em>0 A.M  onwards<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n

          • Viva voce will be assessed out of 100 marks <\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            • <\/strong>Final calculation of marks<\/strong> (100%)<\/strong>: <\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Academic Marks will be assessed out of 30%<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Shortlisting marks will be assessed out of 20%<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
            • Presentation and Viva voce will be assessed out of 50%<\/em><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

              Conditions: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

              • An applicant must secure a minimum of 50% in <\/em>the final markings to qualify for the scholarship<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • The KGUMSB shall not be responsible to seek admissions. The selected candidate should seek admissions from the reputed Universities offering the courses.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • The selected candidates should inform KGUMSB about the admission within twelve months of scholarship being granted, after which it will be considered cancelled.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • The stipend and any other allowances shall be as per the RGoB rules and regulations. If the grantee is absent from the University for more than a month, the scholarship shall be suspended for that period. <\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • The selected candidate will have to sign an undertaking with the KGUMSB before their departure<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
              • The selected candidate, after the study period may have to assist the KGUMSB, wherever required. <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                An applicant shall be disqualified from appearing in the selection process if he\/she fails to furnish testimonials as required above during the time of verification and the scholarship offer will be allotted to the immediate next applicant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
