1<\/strong>st<\/sup><\/strong> batch MBBS student\u2019s requirements for January 2024 intake<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selected students for MBBS program of Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) 2024 are required to report to Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine as mentioned below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporting Date: Saturday,<\/strong> 11<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong> November, 2023<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reporting Time: 10 am – 5 pm<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place: Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine at TABA Campus<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Information<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. The students are instructed to bring their parent\/legal guardian on the reporting date.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Information on uniform will be provided later after joining the course. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The students will have to attend mandatory Pre-MBBS orientation program scheduled from 13th November to 31st December 2023.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. The formal classes will commence from Monday, 1st January 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The following are the documents\/items required at the time of reporting: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Duly filled Admission Form for the Year 2024.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Undertaking form for scholarship to be signed by the parent\/legal guardian on reporting to the Faculty <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Class XII Original mark sheet & photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Class X original mark sheet & photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. Original School leaving certificate & photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    6. Citizenship Identity Card photocopy<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    7. Recent passport-size photo (2)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    8. Legal stamps (3)
      <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      The students are required to make the following payment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Faculty of Undergraduate Medicine development fund: <\/strong>Nu.1800 (for six years)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Security money deposit (refundable):<\/strong> Nu. 6000 (6 years\u2019 program)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Mess Money (First month): Nu.3000 <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Total amount: Nu-10800\/-<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Hostel Requirements<\/strong>:
        1. Sickle  1
        2. Small spade   1 
        3. Bucket 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. Water Jug 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        5. Soap case 1<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        6. Washing brush
        4. Plate, Mug, and spoon 1 each for personal use
        5. Broom (hard and soft) 1 each
        7. Pillow 1
        8. Pillow cover 2-3 nos.
        9. Blanket and  quilt with cover 1-2 nos.
        10. Bed sheet 2-3 Nos

        1. Gho and Kira (decent)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2. Lagay for boys (minimum-2-3 pairs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        3. Tego\/Gong  for boys (minimum 2-3 nos.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        4. Wonju and Tego for girls (minimum 3 -6nos.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        5. Black shoes (formal) no heels (minimum 2 pairs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        6. Bath towel  1 no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        7. Face towel 1 no. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        8. Bathroom slippers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        9. Black\/Navy blue socks for gents (minimum -2 pairs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        10. Sports shoes and attire as required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        11.  Rachu for girls<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        12. Kabney for boys<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        13. Stationeries as required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        14. White lab coats<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        15. BoB account number to be opened and TPN Number to be obtained<\/p>\n\n\n\n

         Note: <\/strong>The student needs to pay the following from your stipend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        1. Mess Nu 3000 \/monthly<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Monthly hostel rent 10% from your stipend (Nu 500)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        3. Utility bills<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
