The Bhutan Health Journal under the aegis of Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan (KGUMSB) is pleased to announce vacant post of Editors and Asst. Editors as follows.<\/p>\n

Vacant Editors position<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Faculty of Nursing & Public Health \u2013 1 slot<\/p>\n

Faculty of Postgraduate medicine \u2013 1 slot<\/p>\n

Physician\/ clinician (Within Thimphu district) \u2013 4 slots<\/p>\n

Vacant Asst. Editors position<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Asst. Editor \u2013 2 slots<\/p>\n

Applicants for Editors must fulfill following criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. MD\/MS in medical or Masters in Health Sciences.<\/li>\n
  2. Trained in research methodology<\/li>\n
  3. Trained in scientific paper writing and peer-reviewing<\/li>\n
  4. Trained in medical journal editorship<\/li>\n
  5. Al least one original research publication<\/li>\n
  6. Active commitment reviewing the manuscripts and attending board meetings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Applicants for Assistant Editors must fulfil the following criteria: <\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Bachelors in Medical or Health Sciences<\/li>\n
    2. Active in research<\/li>\n
    3. Publication (Optional)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Interested applicant for both positions who meet the eligibility criteria may apply along with:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Latest curriculum vitae<\/li>\n
      2. Highest degree transcript and mark sheet<\/li>\n
      3. Citizenship Identity Card copy<\/li>\n
      4. One recent passport size photograph<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        ***Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. All the BHJ members are selected in their personal capacities, based on their interest, research and\/or scientific knowledge and expertise, as well as on their commitment and willingness to volunteer the necessary time and effort for the BHJ\u2019s work.<\/li>\n
        2. The selected candidate will not have any sorts of monetary benefits.<\/li>\n
        3. The Editors\u2019 tenure shall be for five years with an option to extend further depending on the performance and willingness to continue, but Asst. Editors have no fixed tenure.<\/li>\n
        4. Both Editors and Asst. Editors must commit their time and effort at all times<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
