Bhutan Accreditation Council (BAC) today awarded Certificate of Accreditation to the Faculty of Traditional Medicine and 
Faculty of Nursing and Public Health at a ceremony held at Ramada Valley Thimphu with both Faculty getting a Grade B (Good) standing. Certificates were also awarded to the Colleges of Education Paro and Samtse and Gedu College of Business Studies under the Royal University of Bhutan.
This is the result of the accreditation exercise carried out over the last six months through a process of Institutional Self Assessment Report and site visits carried out by external accreditors.
The certification is to ensure that minimum standards are met, maintain and enhance the quality of higher education provision and inform stakeholders.
